What I do and why it matters

Experience That Begins Where Justice Begins

State court is where full cases are heard, evidence is tested, and final decisions are made. State court judges oversee criminal and civil trials, manage juries, and ensure proceedings are fair, efficient, and grounded in the rule of law.

My Judicial experience in the Magistrate Court has prepared me for these responsibilities. I have worked at the front lines of the justice system, protecting constitutional rights, safeguarding public safety, and resolving disputes fairly.

I am committed to bringing practical courtroom experience, sound legal judgment, and dedicated public service, grounded in fairness, compassion, and community trust, to the trial court bench.

My Story

My path to the bench has prepared me for the work of a trial court judge. Throughout my legal career, I have developed the discipline, judgment, and resilience required to make decisions that affect real lives. Serving as a Magistrate Judge has given me firsthand experience at the foundation of the justice system, but my focus has always been on the broader mission of trial courts: ensuring that cases are handled fairly, efficiently, and according to the rule of law.
